Your data
Privacy policy.
This policy explains how PushBeat, the developer and operator of PushBeat Timer, handles information when you use the mobile app, visit this website, or send feedback. Effective September 10, 2026.
Website privacy
The PushBeat Timer website does not create user accounts or use advertising cookies. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect aggregate page-view and performance information, including Core Web Vitals, so we can understand site reliability and loading speed. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or track individual visitors across websites.
When you click the App Store or APK download link, the website sends PostHog a single event containing the destination platform and button location so we can measure aggregate download interest. This event does not use cookies or persistent visitor identifiers, create a user profile, or include session replay, advertising identifiers, or information you enter. PostHog may process ordinary network information, such as your IP address and browser user agent, while receiving the event.
The website also uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page views, traffic sources, and visitor interactions. Google Analytics uses cookies and browser identifiers to distinguish visitors and sessions and processes information about your browser, device, and website activity. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare also processes ordinary network information, such as IP addresses and request metadata, as part of securely delivering the site.
Data stored on your device
Training history, detailed timer configurations, audio preferences, theme choices, and analytics settings are stored locally on your device. They remain there until you delete them in the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. PushBeat does not receive your detailed training history or timer configurations.
Optional app analytics
App analytics is off by default. If you actively enable Analytics under Settings → Privacy, PushBeat Timer uses PostHog to understand which features are used and improve reliability. Analytics may include:
- A randomly generated installation identifier.
- App version and build number.
- Operating system version, device model, platform, locale, and timezone.
- Screen views, settings changes, and limited timer events such as mode, phase, and whether a session completed.
Analytics does not include session replay, advertising data, your detailed timer values, or your local training history. PushBeat does not use this information for advertising or cross-app tracking.
You can withdraw consent at any time by turning off Analytics under Settings → Privacy. When disabled, new analytics events are not sent.
Feedback
When you voluntarily send in-app feedback, PushBeat receives your message, any email address you choose to provide, and technical context including app version, build number, operating system, device model, locale, timezone, and installation identifier. This information is used to respond to feedback, investigate issues, and improve the app.
Sharing and retention
PushBeat does not sell personal information. Analytics is processed by PostHog and Google Analytics, website delivery and aggregate website analytics are processed by Cloudflare, and feedback may be processed by PushBeat's hosting and email providers. These providers may act only for the purposes described here and are required to protect information to the same or an equivalent standard.
Analytics events are retained only while needed to compare feature use and reliability across supported app versions, then deleted or de-identified when those versions are no longer part of active product analysis. Feedback and related technical context are retained until the request is resolved and a reasonable follow-up or abuse-prevention period has ended. Information may be retained longer only when required for security or legal obligations.
Your choices
You can keep analytics disabled, withdraw consent at any time, delete local training history from the app, and omit your email when sending feedback. To request access to or deletion of analytics or feedback data, begin an in-app feedback message with “Privacy request” or contact us. An in-app request includes the installation identifier needed to locate pseudonymous records.
